This position is for Second in Command (SIC) of a turbo-jet Lear 45 and requires a strong ability to multi-task, making high level complex decisions while completing a variety of aviation related tasks. The flying for this position will support the aircraft owners and charter operations.

This job primarily operates in a turbo-jet Lear 45 while providing world class customer service for the all Advanced Air passengers. The Second in Command’s main responsibility is to call the PIC’s attention to any deviation from regulations, Company policy or safe operating practices.

What you'll do:

  • Assist the pilot-in-command during all phases of flight in accordance with operating policies and procedures
  • Perform a visual pre-flight (walk-around) inspection prior to each flight
  • Perform a visual post-flight (walk-around) after each flight
  • Assume primary responsibility for the safety of the passengers, crewmembers, cargo, and the aircraft should the pilot-in-command become incapacitated or unable to perform his/her duties.
  • Have primary operational responsibility for successfully completing the customer service portions of each leg as outlined in the policies and procedures manual.
  • Review thoroughly and brief the pilot-in-command specifically on all customer service items including, but not limited to passenger pick up, passenger drop off, refueling, customs, private hangar pick up/drop off, private hangar communications requirements, and passenger catering.
  • Comply with all Federal Aviation Regulations, Company Operations Manual, Operations Specifications, Standard Operating Procedures, and Company Policies and Procedures
  • INITIAL NEW-HIRE Consists of all ground training curriculum segments in their entirety, with the aircraft ground being specific to the type(s) of aircraft in which the airman is to qualify. The flight training will cover all required events and maneuvers with none being waived by the qualified flight instructor. Crewmember Training will be recorded on AA Training Form 301.
  • Update flight and duty records, determine eligibility for the next flight assignment and ensure any aircraft maintenance discrepancies are reported to the Captain and reported in accordance with operating policy and procedure
  • Participate proactively in safety and quality systems by identifying, reporting and mitigating hazards and quality issues.  Provide timely input to management and apply systems processes to address quality and safety issues. Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned by the pilot-in-command, the Chief Pilot or higher authority

What you'll need:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Current US Passport with at least 6 months remaining at all times during employment period
  • Must be highly knowledgeable of the general operations manual, FAA Regulations, operations specifications, flight manuals, standard operating procedures, and company policies and procedures
  • Must be able to complete our pilot training indoctrination program consists of: ground school, online computer based training, flight training in the aircraft during normal operations. At the conclusion of this a pilot is expected to perform at a level to pass the appropriate 135 checks to qualify as a company SIC
  • 1500 hours total flight time, 500 hours PIC,
  • The pilot must hold at least a commercial pilot certificate for multi-engine and aircraft with an instrument rating as the minimum experience to be an SIC for an aircraft in the general-purpose multi-engine family of aircraft

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for resolving customer requests, questions and needs ensuring the best use of resources to accomplish these tasks in a high pace environment.
  • Must be able to handle customer complaints and maintain a professional attitude
  • Answer and direct calls at the multi-line phone station in a courteous and professional manner
  • Operate office equipment, including but not limited to air-to-group radio, ground radios, airport access control, computers and multiline phones as required.
  • Coordinate customer service order requests and maintain database to ensure data is accurate
  • Complete daily fuel log, invoice fuel tickets and settle truck sheets
  • Serve as a concierge between customers and various airport departments and vendors.

  • Act as On Call specialist to assist other Reservations Specialist day to day with after hours or urgent reservations issues
  • Participate in regular check-ins with Director of Stations and assist with training, coaching and performance management of CSAs

What you'll do:

Main Objective is to provide Taos travelers a world class experience in a fleet of Dornier 328Jets. While holding up to the standards of Advanced Air, LLC flight operations, interacting with all charter customers, aircraft owners, and Taos travelers. 

What you'll do:

  • Assist the pilot-in-command during all phases of flight in accordance with operating policies and procedures
  • Perform a visual pre-flight (walk-around) inspection prior to each flight
  • Perform a visual post-flight (walk-around) after each flight
  • Assume primary responsibility for the safety of the passengers, crewmembers, cargo, and the aircraft should the pilot-in-command become incapacitated or unable to perform his/her duties.
  • Have primary operational responsibility for successfully completing the customer service portions of each leg as outlined in the policies and procedures manual.
  • Review thoroughly and brief the pilot-in-command specifically on all customer service items including, but not limited to passenger pick up, passenger drop off, refueling, customs, private hangar pick up/drop off, private hangar communications requirements, and passenger catering.
  • Comply with all Federal Aviation Regulations, Company Operations Manual, Operations Specifications, Standard Operating Procedures, and Company Policies and Procedures
  • Update flight and duty records, determine eligibility for the next flight assignment and ensure any aircraft maintenance discrepancies are reported to the Captain and reported in accordance with operating policy and procedure
  • Participate proactively in safety and quality systems by identifying, reporting and mitigating hazards and quality issues.  Provide timely input to management and apply systems processes to address quality and safety issues. Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned by the pilot-in-command, the Chief Pilot or higher authority

What you'll need:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Current US Passport with at least 6 months remaining at all times during employment period
  • Must be highly knowledgeable of the general operations manual, FAA Regulations, operations specifications, flight manuals, standard operating procedures, and company policies and procedures
  • Must be able to complete our pilot training indoctrination program consists of: ground school, online computer based training, flight training in the aircraft during normal operations. At the conclusion of this a pilot is expected to perform at a level to pass the appropriate 135 checks to qualify as a company SIC
  • 1500 hours total time, 500 PIC, 100 hours multi-engine fixed wing,
  • 500 hours of cross-country flight time; 200 hours night time, 75 hours instrumental flight time of which 50 hrs were in the actual flight.
